OMG, a winter storm is hitting the DC, Maryland, and Virginia areas! Seriously, gonna be a mess. Expect school closures and, like, total disruption to everything. This here article will give you the lowdown on school closures, transportation, and all that jazz. I tried my best to get it all right, but you know how these things go…

This table shows which schools are closed, I think. I’m pretty sure I got it right, but double check!

DC Area: A Closer Look

These schools in DC are closed tomorrow because of the, you know, weather.

• Wilson High School (Washington, D.C.) – Snowmageddon!
• DuPont Manual School (Washington, D.C.) – Yeah, snow day!
• Ballsenrieder Middle School (Washington, D.C.) – Closed due to inclement weather. Duh.

Check the Washington, D.C. Public Schools website for updates: www.washingtondcps.gov. (I hope this link works!)

Maryland Area: A Look at Baltimore and Howard Counties

• Baltimore City Public Schools: Seriously, so many schools closed in Baltimore. Check their site for the full list: www.baltimorecityschools.org. It’s gonna be a blizzard!
• Howard County Public Schools: Howard County’s closed too. Snow and ice, yikes! Check www.hcpss.org for updates. I’m freezing just thinking about it.

Virginia Area: A Closer Look

• Arlington County Public Schools: EVERYTHING’S CLOSED in Arlington. Seriously. www.aclbschools.net for details.
• Fairfax County Public Schools: A whole lotta schools closed in Fairfax County. Check www.fcps.edu for the full list. I’m so glad I’m not driving today!

Other Closures: Transportation Services and More

• Metro Services: Metro’s probably gonna be messed up. Check www.wmata.com. Ugh, traffic’s gonna be terrible.
• Transportation Services: Uber and Lyft might be crazy expensive or unavailable. Plan accordingly!
